“Amazing! Our favourite little gem!" - My partner and I love Ambar's. The cosy, chintzy, warm and friendly atmosphere offered at this restaurant is one of the main reasons we love it. They manage, however, to surpass their charm with their food. We have tried many things on the menu here and they never disappoint - one of the few curry houses which doesn't present you with a congealed curry with oil floating around the top. The curries here feel sort of, well, clean! The chicken/ meat is always tender and sauces fresh and full of flavour. May I recommend the tandori prawns to start and both the chicken vindaloo/ madras if you like something hot, or the chicken Mahkni if you like your curry mild and rich. The service is so friendly, they can't do enough for you. They do take out but do not deliver but it is definitely worth the trip! Well recommended. –Foodface85, Sheffield
